Care instructions for MDF boards

Care instructions: MDF boards that are lacquered or varnished are sensitive to scratch and damage. Therefore, handle the plates carefully to avoid this. Surfaces painted with varnish containing color pigments or paint have a pigmentation that results in a non-opaque, transparent finish. Foods such as lemonade, red wine and Coffee They contain dyes to which white lacquers are particularly sensitive. Please also read our care instructions to extend the lifespan of your furniture.

MDF Painted or varnished MDF surfaces are prone to scratches and damage, so be careful with the surface! Detergents and cleaning products containing ammonia are less suitable for painted surfaces, as acetone, thinner, and T-spirit can dissolve the paint. Beverages such as lemonade, red wine, and coffee contain pigments to which white paint is particularly sensitive. For daily care, use a soft, dry cloth, preferably microfiber, to clean the furniture. To remove stains, we recommend using a soft cloth and soapy water. Wipe the surface dry immediately afterward. Make sure to always wipe up any spills immediately.
